Graduate students in the University’s 2018-2019 intake who wishes to study for 13 months or less will be able to participate in the pilot, which has also been rolled out to 23 more universities in England.

Visa applications will be made a lot easier for prospective one-year master’s students applying to study abroad in UK universities this year, thanks to a new visa pilot scheme. Graduate students in the University’s 2018-2019 intake who wishes to study for 13 months or less will be able to participate in the pilot, which has also been rolled out to 23 more universities in England. Eligible international students applying to the universities involved in this pilot project may have to submit lesser documents.
The Scheme Offers Several Important Advantages for Students Applying for A Tier 4 Visa To Study On A Masters Course Of 13 Months Or Less.
Student will be granted six months of additional leave on their visa from their course end date. This will be particularly helpful if students are considering to remain in the UK after their course to look for work.
Universities taking part are given responsibility for eligibility checks, meaning that students can submit fewer documents than required in the current process alongside their visa applications. Applicants that do not meet immigration rules will be refused and all students will continue to require Home Office security and identity checks.
